Are you an Arrow of Light scout looking for a Scout Troop to cross over to? or maybe you are new to Scouting and want a great Troop to join?

Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting! Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.

We meet every Thursday evening when school is in session. Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 437 at 114 Dunstable Road. The Legion's power has been restored so this week's troop meeting is on!

The troop meeting will be the last chance to finalize details of this weekend's Webelos Invitational event and is the deadline for signing up for November's camping/hiking trip. See the e-blast - coming shortly - for more details.

The Troop 437 2011 Webelos Invitational is on November 6th. This is a Sunday event and will be held at the american Legion post. Please put this on your calendar as we will need Scouts to attend to host the event.

Popcorn selling continues - important dates

While the Cookie dough sale is coming to an end the popcorn sale runs for a couple more weeks. There are two important dates to remember for the pocorn orders:

Sunday November 6th - All unsold popcorn product needs to be returned to Mr. Laushine

Thursday November 10th - Final popcorn orders due

Cookie Dough orders due this Thursday Oct. 27th - late orders can't be accepted!

Please be sure to bring your cookie dough orders and payments to the troop meeting this Thursday. They must be submitted at or before the troop meeting as we must turn in all the orders by Friday morning. If you don't turn in your order form and money on Thursday they won't be able to be ordered. If you can't come to the meeting this Thursday please bring it by the Hemmingway residence before Thursday at 41 Flagg Road, in the center of town near WA and the Robinson School.

Family Life and Citizenship in the Community merit badges starting

Family Life and Citizenship in the Community merit badges will be starting up soon. Scouts who are first class or above can sign-up by speaking to the merit badge counselors. Mr. Weaver will be counseling Citizenship in the Community and Mrs. McKeen will be counseling Family Life.
