Are you an Arrow of Light scout looking for a Scout Troop to cross over to? or maybe you are new to Scouting and want a great Troop to join?

Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting! Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.

We meet every Thursday evening when school is in session. Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 437 at 114 Dunstable Road. 2025 Summer Camp at Camp Wanocksett

Learn Bike Repair on April 18

The Bike Sale committee is holding a Bike Repair session on Saturday, April 18, from 9 am to 12 pm at Jess Anderson's house. Do you have experience with minor bike repairs? Or would you like to learn? We will have several Scout leaders who are experienced with bike repair there!

Please join us to help evaluate donated bikes, perform minor repairs, and learn all kinds of repair techniques. This session will be especially helpful for Scouts and adults who would like to go on our May Bike Trip on Cape Cod!

Calling all bakers!

The Bake Sale will be returning to the Bike Sale this year!

Please consider donating baked goods for the troop to sell at the bike sale. We are looking for all kinds of donations of sweet and/or savory items: cookies, brownies, cupcakes, loaves of bread, etc.

Donations can be dropped off to the American Legion on Friday, May 1 from 5:30-7:30PM or between 7AM-9AM on May 2 at the common (the day of the sale).

Summer Camp 2026 - Deadline for Early Bird discount April 9th! Here are the details...

Troop 437 will attend Summer Camp from July 26th to August 1st. We will once again attend Camp Wanocksett.

What: A week of adventure, advancement, and scouting at the foot of Mt. Monadnock

Where: Camp Wanocksett, 642 Upper Jaffrey RD, Dublin, NH 03444

When: Sunday, July 26th to Saturday, August 1st

Cost: The week of summer camp costs $630. However, if paid to the Troop by April 9th, there is an early-bird discount of $35, making the camp fee $595. Assistance is available if needed - we want every scout to experience summer camp!

Important Deadlines:

April 9^th Signup deadline for early bird pricing
April 15^th Deadline for CIT applications
March 15^th is the deadline for Campership applications for scouts needing financial assistance
June 4^th Medical Forms due

April Camping Trip - Badge Bonanza and Iron Chef - April 11th/12th

Outing: Camp Resolute in Bolton, MA

Arrive at Resolute: 10 AM on Saturday, April 11th

Pickup at Resolute: 10 AM on Sunday, April 12th

Cost: $25 for overnight camping, lunch, dinner, cracker barrel & breakfast

Overview: This trip will be tent camping at the Resolute Scout Reservation. This campout will be a great opportunity for our new cross-over scouts to join in all the fun of camping with Troop 437.

This trip will feature a Merit Badge Bonanza, where several merit badges that can be completed in one day will be offered. We hope all scouts can complete one or two badges at this campout. An exact list of badges that will be offered will be announced as the trip approaches.

The patrols will also be competing in an Iron Chef cooking competition! Does your patrol have what it takes to wow and delight the judges with your culinary skills and teamwork?

There will also be our usual evening campfire and a likely opportunity for board or card games. Bring your favorite game to share with your fellow scouts!

Equipment: Please see the Scout Troop 437 | Camping Essentials page on our website. The Troop has tents and sleeping bags available for borrowing, along with some other gear. If you want to borrow equipment, please talk to the quartermaster or a scoutmaster at a Troop meeting.

Parent Participation: Per BSA guidelines, any parent wishing to camp overnight at a scout event must be a registered adult with the BSA. Please see the details on our website at Scout Troop 437 | Adult Registration (westfordtroop437.us).

Camp Resolute Address: 75 Hudson Rd, Bolton, MA 01740, which is approximately 25 minutes from Westford.

Map of Camp Resolute - we are camping at the Rifle Range, which will be a 5-minute walk from the campsite. The camp has some carts for equipment.

This is a drop-off/pick-up on-site event. You’re welcome to talk to your scout’s friends about carpooling. If you have any questions, contact Andy McKeen.
