The fall Legion cleanup is this Saturday from 10:00am to noon.  This is a great opportunity for the scout troop to give back to our sponsoring organization.  The work will include stacking firewood, raking, and trash pickup.  Please come on by on Saturday morning and help out - bring your work gloves!  This activity does qualify for service hours.

The Weather this weekend is looking good - a bit cold during the night but nice and sunny on Saturday and Sunday.  Please come prepared for a wide range of tempretures.  If you have not yet turned in your paperwork or payment yet please do so at this week's troop meeting.

The September trip will be a visit to Monkey Trunks in Choccorua, NH.  Monkey Trunks is a high ropes adventure course consisting of 6 ziplines over and through the trees - Two of which you can ride side-by-side with another monkey!  Challenges that include swinging beams, tightropes, rolling logs, hanging tires, cargo nets and more!  Enjoy all of these activities as low as 10 feet and as high as 55 feet off the ground!

The Advancement deadline for the fall Court of Honor is September 11th.  Make sure to double check that the summer camp achievements are recorded in the advancment book.  Also make sure to talk to the Scoutmaster to schedule Scoutmaster conferences and Boards if needed.
