Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting! Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.

We meet every Thursday evening when school is in session. Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 437 at 114 Dunstable Road. Thank you for a great Court of Honor last week. As a reminder the Court signals the end to our regular weekly troop meeting for the year. Weekly meetings will start up again in September when school starts again.

Canoe Trip prep meeting - meal planning and swim tests - Monday Evening June 22nd - Forge Pond Beach

We will be having a meeting to prepare for the upcoming canoe trip on Monday June 22nd at Forge Pond Beach. The meeting will begin at 7:00pm

All Canoe Trip participants should plan on attending to conduct meal planning and trip overview.

Swim tests will be held for any scouts and adults needing to comeplete the required BSA Swim test.

Please let the scoutmaster know if you have any questions.

PLC Meeting - Yearly planning conference - Thursday June 25th

The Troop's yearly planning conference will be held on Thursday June 25th starting at 7:00pm at the Legion hall. All PLC members should attend to help plan next year's events. Just a reminder - PLC members are SPL, ASPL, patrol leaders, and anyone in a position of responsibility.

Spring Court of Honor this Week

This Thursday will be Troop 437's annual Spring Court of Honor. For scouts and parents new to the troop, the Court of Honor is a ceremony to recognize scouts who have earned ranks and badges this spring. Families of scouts are encouraged to attend. Scouts should arrive 15 minutes early to set up. Would the patrols please bring the following:

Buffalo, Pineapple, and Green patrols- drinks

Phoenix and Flaming Eagles- food

May campout at Patuckaway State Park - Last call for sign-ups

The May trip for Troop 437 will be a two-night camping trip to Pawtuckaway State Park. Friday night, we will setup camp, play games, and have our usual “Cracker Barrel.” On Saturday we will be hiking to the old fire tower. We will be having our lunch on the hike. . After hiking back, we will work on rank advancement until dinner.
