Calendar Updates

Posted on Sep 25 2024 - 5:12pm

Due to logistical difficulties, we have made changes in the October and November trips.

October - Unfortunately we are not going to be able to make the trip to Acadia on Columbus Day weekend as planned.  Instead, we are pulling forward the High Ropes trip originally planned for the spring to the weekend of October 19th.  More details about this trip will be published soon.

November - Because the October trip is moving out one week we are also moving the November trip out one week to the weekend of November 16th.  This allows us to avoid a trip on Veterans Day weekend.  The trip theme remains a pioneering trip to Camp Resolute in Bolton.

Summer Camp Information - Three Important Tasks for this week!

Posted on Jun 12 2024 - 3:50pm
  • Summer camp is just under 2 months away and there are three tasks that everyone attending camp should do right now.

#1:  If you have not already done so, turn in your medical forms.  The deadline is this Thursday, June 6th.  If you have questions or know that you are going to miss the deadline, please reach out to Barbara Evangelista as soon as possible.

#2:  Everyone attending summer camp needs to read the Troop 437 Summer Camp Guide.  This short document contains everything you need to know about packing, equipment, arrival, and expectations about camp attendance.

#3:  All Scouts need to select what merit badges and/or activities they want to participate in during the three activity periods.  See the details in the Summer Camp Activity Choices document.

If you have any questions about summer camp or want to discuss your choices for activities at summer camp please reach out to a scoutmaster.

P.S. If you are not signed up for summer camp but would like to please let me know - there is still time!
