Are you an Arrow of Light scout looking for a Scout Troop to cross over to?  or maybe you are new to Scouting and want a great Troop to join?

 
Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting!  Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.

In order to simplify access to information on the troop web site the need for a password to read announcements, calendar entries and files has been removed.



Final week to turn in advancement for Court of Honor

The spring court of honor is in just two weeks. This week's troop meeting is the last opportunity to turn in advancement to be included.



Troop meeting - Bring out your muskets - bring out your marshmallows

This Thursday, the troop will be training on the effective use of their marshmallow muskets. The first part of the meeting we will have a small skirmish in the field behind the legion. Each scout is responsible for bringing marshmallows. A medium bag of mellows should be sufficient. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.



Reminder medical forms needed prior to attending summer camp

The NEW 2010 BSA health form is required for Scouts and Adults attending summer camp.

New waiver forms needed for sailing trip

Our sailing outfitter Courageous Sailing just revised their Waiver forms effective 5/28 and has requested us to use the new form.


Attached is the revised Waiver. A form has to be signed by each individual sailing. If the individual is a minor (under 18) they still have to sign their own waiver and countersigned by their parent/guardian. They will not accept multiple family names on the Waiver.



Reminder - Troop meeting at fire station 3 this week

This week's troop meeting will be held at Fire Station #3 on Town Farm Road. This is the station across the road from the Norman E. Day school. The topic will be Fire Safety.
