The Weather this weekend is looking good - a bit cold during the night but nice and sunny on Saturday and Sunday.  Please come prepared for a wide range of tempretures.  If you have not yet turned in your paperwork or payment yet please do so at this week's troop meeting.

The September trip will be a visit to Monkey Trunks in Choccorua, NH.  Monkey Trunks is a high ropes adventure course consisting of 6 ziplines over and through the trees - Two of which you can ride side-by-side with another monkey!  Challenges that include swinging beams, tightropes, rolling logs, hanging tires, cargo nets and more!  Enjoy all of these activities as low as 10 feet and as high as 55 feet off the ground!

The Advancement deadline for the fall Court of Honor is September 11th.  Make sure to double check that the summer camp achievements are recorded in the advancment book.  Also make sure to talk to the Scoutmaster to schedule Scoutmaster conferences and Boards if needed. 

Troop 437's new scouting year begins this week with our first troop meeting on Thursday at 7:00pm at the  American Legion Post 437.  Its been a great summer for the troop and there are lots of great things in store for this coming year.

All scouts should remember to bring their handbooks as one of the activities at this week's troop meeting be to get work completed at summer camp signed off in handbooks.

Troop 437 Eagle Scout Jeremy Hemmingway will be running the bonfire at this weekend's East Boston Camp Gala to raise money for the new bathhouse.  Jeremy would like two or three scouts to help with the fire.  The event runs from 5:00pm - 10:00pm on Saturday.  This would qualify for service hours.  If you are able to help out with the event please contact the scoutmaster at scoutmaster@westfordtroop437.us.
