Troop 437 and the American Legion Post 437 are excited to welcome girls into the Scouting program.  As of February 1st Boys Scouts of America has become Scouting BSA and with it a great opportunity for girls to enjoy and benefit from the BSA program.

Troop 437 invites all girls that are interested in learning about scouts to join us at a Troop meeting or contact us at info@westfordtroop437.us.

Any boy or girl between the ages of 11 and 18 is eligible to join scouts even if they have not been involved in Cub Scouts.  Any girl or boy currently participating in a Cub Scout pack can cross over to Troop 437 when they reach 10 years old and complete their Arrow of Light.

Help is needed to support the food drive at WA this Friday Oct 11th

Food Drive to Benefit Westford Food Pantry

On Friday Oct 11th from 5:30 to 7pm Scout Troop 437 of Westford will be conducting a food drive prior to the WA Varsity football game.
Please bring non-perishable food products.  Ideas include:

• Canned goods: soups, beans, vegetables, tuna, chicken
• Dry goods: cereal, pasta, rice, coffee, tea, sugar, flour
• Personal care: tooth paste, shaving / razors, soap, shampoo, deodorant

This week's troop meeting (9/19) will be a night hike at Stony Brook Conservation Land.  Please arrive at the standard time (7:00pm) at the main parking lot off from Depot Street.

September Trip
The Troop's September trip is a camping overnight at Gunstock Mountain where the scouts will get to experience Gunstock's Adventure Park which includes an awesome Zip Line, Multiple High Rope challenges, a mountain coaster and many more activities.  The permission slip for the trip is below.  We need sign-ups to be submitted by September 5th so we can secure our reservations at Gunstock.
