Are you an Arrow of Light scout looking for a Scout Troop to cross over to? or maybe you are new to Scouting and want a great Troop to join?

Either way, Troop 437 welcomes all youth to come and experience the adventure of scouting! Visit one of our meetings to experience what Scouting is all about and what makes Troop 437 a great Scout Troop.

We meet every Thursday evening when school is in session. Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 437 at 114 Dunstable Road. 2024 Summer Camp at Camp Wanocksett

October Trip - Mountain Hike - October 12th - 14th. - Signups due October 4th

The October trip for Troop 437 is a mountain hike at Mt Liberty located in Lincoln NH. We will be camping at the Lafayette place group camp site #70. We will meet on Friday evening at our campsite and set up camp. We will start our day hike at approximately 8:30 am. We will eat lunch on the trail and then continue to the top of Mt Liberty. Dinner will be prepared back at the campsite. Sunday morning, we will eat breakfast and depart the site at approximately 9:00am

Scouts should bring their handbooks to Troop meetings. This will allow scouts to complete and record advancement and also reference mterial in the handbooks in support of activities during the meeting.

Hello Troop! Welcome to a new Scout year! With the start of the school year comes the start of Scouts again. Our first troop meeting will be this week. Thursday at 7:00pm at the Legion Hall as usual!

September Rafting Trip sign-ups now open - Due August 4th

Sign-up by August 4th. Please submit Troop Permission Slip, Crab Apple White Water Rafting Waiver form, check made out to Troop 437

Back by popular demand our September trip will be a white water rafting trip on the Kennebec River in Maine. We will be camping at Crab Apple Whitewater’s group campsite. We will meet on Saturday afternoon at Crab Apple Whitewater, set up camp & take a short hike to see Moxie Falls (approx. 1 mile). Sunday morning we will have a breakfast buffet at Crab Apple before embarking on our white water rafting adventure! The trip will entail rafting through Class III-IV rapids. A guide from our outfitter, Crab Apple Whitewater, will lead each boat. A grilled lunch will be provided after the rafting. Approximate time on the river will be 3-4 hours. The trip finishes at the outfitter’s facility where they have a pool and hot tub available.

Important Note: All scouts must pass the BSA swim test to attend. Scouts who passed the test at camp or for Seabase are all set. If needed, a time to take the test can be arranged before the trip.
